It's still unknown however whether or not Danny Elfman contributed toany songs on the album. SLEEPY HOLLOW OST FROM HOL/REC - SCORE CLIPS ONLINE Hollywood Records will be releasing Danny Elfman's bombastic score to SLEEPY HOLLOW (HOL/REC also released Elfman's A CIVIL ACTION). The score incorporates massive orchestra with chorus, and was recorded in London (therefore meaning a substantial album running time!). The official SLEEPY HOLLOW site features 10 clips from the score. No details are given to what cues they are. Unfortunately they're encoded as nasty Quicktime 4 files - good luck trying to hear them! "Director Richard Elfman's famous brother Danny contributed the main musical theme to the movie that is reprised throughout the film. It was actually this theme that first indicated that the notion of a hard-edged horror film was out of place. Reminiscent to the music used by Tim Burton in "Mars Attacks," the music has an almost whimsical and implicitly light-hearted note with a slight oriental tinge. The theme is complemented by music by Michael Wandmacher that nicely blends with Elfman's theme and creates a solid aural foundation for the film's humorous and the dramatic scenes." IN BRIEF... COLLECTOR CARDS FEATURE ELFMAN'S AUTO A 90 card set from SLEEPY HOLLOW will tell the story as well as feature behind the scenes from the film. Included in every other box are autographs from Tim Burton, Johnny Depp, and Danny Elfman. There will also be special etched foil cards, mini-lobby poster dards, metallic cards and die-cut parchment styled one-sheets made to look like Colonial scandal sheets. DOUBLE DISC OBOINGO Street date: November 2, label: Hip-O Records - a division of Universal Records. The cover art is to be done by Georganne Deen. It's a double album with digi packaging and is the first complete overview of the band. The liner notes will also feature an interview with Danny Elfman.
