Danny Elfman's Herrmann/Funk score for MEN IN BLACK was deemed Best Original Score by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Movies. The award was presented at the 24th Annual Saturn Awards on Wednesday, June 17th. MEN IN BLACK was a three time winner: Best Supporting Actor (for Vincent D'Onofrio), Best Science Fiction Film and Best Music. This is the second year in a row Elfman has won the Saturn for Best Music. Last year he picked one up for MARS ATTACKS! >>Click on the Real Audio symbol to hear Elfman's reaction to the Award Marco Beltrami's scores for SCREAM and SCREAM 2 saw release this summer on the Varese label.  Both scores are represented partly on a single disc. Danny Elfman's contribution to SCREAM 2 titled "Cassandra Aria" will not however be included on the disc. Look for this one to turn up on Music For A Darkened Theater, Volume Three...In the year 2002...
